It’s been a while since I have had a pedi and sometimes life comes in the way that you just don’t have enough time for TLC and I believe It’s best to treat and spoil yourself now and then.
Without further adieu,here is my review of my experience at their Beauty Room;
Beauty Room is located in the heart of Durban North. Salon caprice is a salon that not only caters for all hair related treatments but nail treatments as well. Why not get your hair styled, cut or washed and or get your nail treatments such as manicure, pedicure and gel done in their Beauty Room, and while having your treatment why not indulge in a good cup of tea or coffee at your leisure? Sounds amazing right!😘
On July 20th, I booked an appointment to get my nail treatment done. For my treatment I opted for having gel toes. I decided on Sharon from bio sculpture which is a bright barbie pink colour (Pink -My favourite colour).
Kami, my tech , set to work on my toes. Firstly, she started with the procedure of buffing , polishing, shaping and filing of my toe nails making sure they were ready for the gel application. After getting the shape right, Kami started the bio sculpture gel application and to top things off she came up with a wonderful idea using the Rhine stones to create cute little flowers on either side of the big toes.
Once all was done, I instantly fell in love with the look. Its absolutely perfect👌I have already shared a picture of my gel toes on social media. Too be honest, I actually did not at all feel as if the process of the gel was taking ages. Generally, I’m a very impatient person and do not like sitting for hours, but I’m surprised how quickly it all went!
Despite the fact it’s my first time visiting their salon, I felt like a regular customer. All thanks to the nail tech for making me feel so comfortable.
If you are ever in Durban looking for a fast,efficient, professional nail tech, I would totally recommend you check out Kami from Beauty RoomSA
Now that I’m heads over heels I definitely have to book my next appointment to get my nails done. Dont you think so?

Update time : I had my gel on my toes since July 20th and its currently September and I must say I’m quite impressed and pleased to say the gel is still in good condition. No chips. The stones are still intact.
Still loving it and totally recommend to all❤
Disclamier: this was a competition held last month (June) by the ZA bloggers circle and Beauty Room SA. I was chosen as one of the lucky winners.
The competition was as follows:
♥Winner’s get to pick any nail treatment of their choice : gel/ acrylic/ manicure/ pedicure etc.
♥ In return winners will need to do a write up sharing their experience on their blog.
♥ All of the winners being chosen also stood a chance of being 1 of 3 winners to be sponsored by BeautyRoomSA .
Unfortunately, I lost out on a chance to become sponsored. Heres why :
The winners were announced early June and being a winner for this competition July 20th is the day that I decided to do my nails and because of me not booking much earlier winners were already chosen and ready to be announced later on that day(July 20th)I must be honest, there was no deadline date given whatsoever. I assumed I could have gone whenever during the year as it was a competition after all and normally competition prizes are valid for a period of a couple months etc. Hopefully future competitions would have a deadline date.
Over and above, I’m beyond happy that I got my prize treatment of my choice and could not have asked for anything more!
